Will I be eligible for finance?
Finance is available on orders of £250 or more placed on our website. This amount includes any additional services and delivery options selected, however, does not take into account any promotions, such as cashback.

Vulnerable Person Policy
At Ribble, we understand the importance for our customers to receive the appropriate information about the products and ways of purchase that we offer to enable them to make an informed decision. Entering a purchase using any payment method, including finance or Cycle-to-Work agreements with their respective terms and conditions, can involve a long-term financial commitment. So, it is considered crucial to Ribble that our customers fully understand their obligations when making a purchase. There are occasions when someone, due to their personal circumstances, may be considered vulnerable or especially susceptible. We, therefore, need to ensure that we consider the circumstances of each individual and, during our dealings with them, tailor our approach, removing any barriers that restrict the customer from accessing our products and achieving a satisfactory outcome.
Recognising vulnerability
We realise that a customer may be vulnerable or potentially vulnerable for various reasons, and these may include mental or physical infirmity, age, credulity, addiction, a recent change in circumstances, new to finance commitments or a particular financial product, learning difficulties, illiteracy and have challenges communicating. The reason for the vulnerability could be a permanent or temporary situation. Our colleagues are trained to ask our customers questions and to actively listen to responses to recognise patterns which could indicate if a customer is potentially vulnerable.
What happens if a customer is identified as being vulnerable?
Being identified as being vulnerable does not preclude a customer from purchasing from Ribble. Due to the diversity of the factors that can contribute to the level of customer vulnerability, there cannot be one approach that can be universally adopted to fit each circumstance. However, examples of how we may ensure that the customer receives a fair outcome could be how we communicate, ask more questions, take further time to go over things and make suggestions for another family member to be a party to the conversations. If the customer is applying for a finance product, we may consider that before being referred to the lender or entering into a credit agreement, the customer would benefit from taking more time to consider whether they are able to understand the commitment they are entering into fully. As part of the application process, our finance partner may want to discuss further with a customer regarding their application. At this point and only with explicit consent from the customer or their appointed representative, and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we may inform our partner of an identified vulnerability to ensure the correct support is available. The overriding principle in our dealings with vulnerable customers is that fair outcomes are achieved throughout their purchase, and any commitments are fully explained, with as much time for consideration as needed, along with support provided to access or purchase our product. How do I select interest-free?
Once you have added your bike to the basket, proceed through checkout and select V12 finance as your payment method.
How long does it take to apply?
It takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes; you will receive a decision immediately upon completing the application.
Can I order parts & accessories and select interest-free finance?
0% interest-free finance only applies to complete bikes; parts and accessories can be purchased using classic credit (14.9% or 9.9% APR).
Will I be credit checked?
Yes. When you apply for finance, the lender will run a credit check on your financial history to see if you are a suitable candidate for finance. This means that this search will show on your credit report.
What happens if my application is declined?
If your finance application is declined, we will cancel your order, and V12 Finance will not debit your card for the amount of the deposit that you have specified.
When do the payments commence?
If your application is successful V12 Finance will only initially debit the deposit amount (if specified), and payments will then commence by direct debit on the dates agreed upon in your direct debit agreement. The first instalment will not be debited until after the bike has been shipped.
What if I want to make a complaint?

If you are dissatisfied with our response and your agreement is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, you have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, free of charge, but you must do so within six months of the date of the final response or 8 week holding letter. What if I wish to return the goods?
Bikes purchased under a finance agreement can still be returned as usual. If the goods are returned, your finance agreement will be cancelled. For full details on Returns, please visit our Returns Page.
