Allroad SL R ePower & Range
With up to 140 km range from a single charge (increasing to over 200 km with the optional range extender), the assistance is delivered smoothly as you pedal, yet powerfully enough to propel you up the most challenging climbs and across diverse terrains. The powerful MAHLE X20 motor provides 55Nm of torque and features a larger 350Wh capacity battery. The fully-featured system can be customised to kick in against pre-set parameters such as your heart rate, making the SL R e your ideal companion for fitness training or recovery from injury.
Allroad SL R eCarbon Construction
We have created our most advanced carbon layup yet built on the race-ready SL R platform. Blending M46 and T1000 carbon fibres across the frame allowed us to deliver exceptional lightness and strength without compromising comfort. This is a performance-focused construction designed to deliver speed on every surface. The electric drive system is fully integrated into the stealthy frame design and is barely visible compared to the profile of a traditional non-assisted bike. This bike is designed to provide electric assistance on-tap when you need it but fade into the background when you don’t, and with weights from just 11.8 kg, the SL R e handles just like a traditional carbon road bike when you’re not using the assistance.
Allroad SL R eAerodynamics
Taking the innovations pioneered on our Ultra platform, the Allroad SL R e is aerodynamically sculpted across every section of the bike for maximum performance and range, and because the motor system and battery are fully integrated, you pay no aerodynamic penalty for the added assistance. Starting at the front of the bike, a wider fork profile blends seamlessly into the headtube, slicing effortlessly through the air. The downtube flares out around the lower section to direct airflow around the bottle and cage and increase the stiffness of the bottom bracket area. Towards the rear, the carefully designed seatstays further control the airflow, creating the most aerodynamic frame design we have ever deployed on an electric bike.
Allroad SL R eVersatility
With clearance for up to 38 mm tyres and hidden mudguard mounts, the SL R e can take on whatever terrain you choose to throw at it, all with the added support of electric assistance on tap. Push your ride further with the optional addition of the Range Extender, increasing your range to over 200 km from a single charge.
Allroad SL R eGeometry
The SL R e is designed around our ‘all-day comfort’ endurance geometry, which has a range of elements designed to optimise comfort without sacrificing performance. Asymmetric tapered chainstays ensure stiffness through the drivetrain but with enough vertical compliance to cushion your ride. Dropped seat stays further add to this compliance, providing flex when needed. The carefully considered ‘endurance’ rider position optimises for these elements and will leave you feeling comfortable and in control across every surface you ride.
