Engineered for pure speed, the ULTRA-AERO bars are purpose-built for our fastest-ever aero bike. Their patented, next-generation design introduces a revolutionary wake-generating concept that reshapes airflow, creating a controlled pocket for the rider’s legs to sit within and reducing drag where it matters most. The aggressive, wing-shaped tops slice the air with scalpel-like precision, while the ergonomic drops and flat-top section deliver comfort and control on long rides or steep climbs. A textured finish removes the need for bar tape, keeping things clean, fast, and uncompromisingly aerodynamic.

Built for pure aero performance, the ULTRA-AERO seatpost features a truncated aerofoil profile that cuts drag in the turbulent airflow behind the rider’s legs. Its composite shaft smooths out road buzz for a more comfortable, controlled ride, further enhanced by the Selle Italia SLR Boost saddle. Designed for all-out performance and long-distance comfort, the SLR’s neutral shape promotes efficient power transfer and complete freedom of movement.

If you're between sizes, we usually recommend going smaller. It's easier to tweak the fit with a longer stem or more seat post, while a bigger frame gives you less room to adjust.

Both use a bespoke blend of T1000 and T800 carbon fibres, but the SL R features more T1000 in its layup. This reduces weight slightly while maintaining the same stiffness, strength, and durability.
We offer a lifetime warranty on all Ribble frames and forks for the original purchaser. This covers any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, so you can ride with complete confidence. The standard manufacturer's warranty covers all other components.
The ULTRA-AERO SL R frameset is approved for use in UCI-sanctioned events. To comply with regulations, the supplied front fork disc brake adaptor must be swapped for the UCI-approved version included with the bike. Failure to make this change may result in disqualification when competing under UCI rules.
Not in the traditional sense. The bars' aggressive profile prevents compatibility with all current extension models. However, we have developed a suitable alternative: theULTRA-AERO Clip-On Extensions. the Ultra Aero Extensions. Exclusive to the Ultra SL R, these carbon extensions bolt into the underside of the handlebars, using the two mounting points normally reserved for an out-front computer mount. Anyone wanting to mount a cycle or GPS computer can mount it to the extensions themselves.
The ULTRA-AERO SL R uses a 68 mm BSA threaded bottom bracket shell, allowing for ease of maintenance and enhanced reliability.
