  • HOW DO I BUY A BIKE ON THE CYCLE TO WORK SCHEME?

  • Speak to your employer to understand how to apply for your Cycle to Work scheme and the steps involved. Once you have the details, decide on the bike and accessories you’d like to purchase. We recommend using our 'Get a Cycle to Work Quote' feature in basket if you won't receive your voucher immediately so that the price of your order is confirmed.If you need help choosing, our team is happy to help.


  • HOW TO BUY

  • Step 1

    Add your bike and/or accessories to the basket as normal then proceed to the checkout. At payment, select the appropriate Cycle to Work provider given to you by your employer.

    Step 2

    Depending on the scheme provider, you may be asked to enter your unique voucher code or upload an image of your certificate. However, if you don't yet have the voucher you can upload it later via the My Account section of the website. You will have 28 days after order placement to provide us with the voucher.

    Step 3

    Your order is now complete! Please be aware that depending on your employer's Cycle to Work agreement, the salary sacrifice may begin before you receive your bike.

  • FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    Cycle to Work is an employee benefit that lets you obtain goods via salary sacrifice. Applying to pay via Cycle to Work means you agree to sacrifice a portion of your gross salary in exchange for a benefit, in this case, a new bike and/or accessories. Salary sacrifice also means you won't pay tax or national insurance on these products, which is where the savings are made. The amount you save depends on your tax bracket. Low-band taxpayers can typically save approximately 28%, while 40% taxpayers can save 42% and 45% taxpayers up to 47%. Don’t forget you can still take advantage of any sale offers or promotions on the bike. Simply use the listed sale price when making your application.     The scheme is designed to promote cycling to work, but you can use the bike for any kind of riding you'd like. The scheme states that 50% of the bike's use should be for work purposes, but there is no need to keep a log of your usage.

    The bike and/or accessories remain the property of your employer during the initial hire period (salary sacrifice). Speak to your employer/benefits provider to understand what happens at the end of the scheme.

    Yes. You can purchase accessories as well as bikes to make up the value of your voucher.

    All bikes and most accessories can be purchased with Cycle to Work Schemes. Some items are excluded, including: Power meters, GPS units, car racks, indoor trainers, nutritional products and cameras.
